Each year, the membership of the MOMS Club of Medina East engages in service projects with the goal of supporting and giving back to local organizations. Proceeds from the service projects have been donated to a number of community organizations, including BirthCare of Medina County, The Children's Center of Medina County, the Battered Women's Shelter of Summit and Medina County, the Medina Library, Wayne County Children's Home, Feeding Medina County, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Helping Hands.
We also engage in service projects that involve donating time and talents. We have partnered with the Ronald McDonald House in Akron, providing meals and cookies to the guests. We have also done other activities such as ringing the Kettle Bell for the Salvation Army, making blankets for Project Linus and assembling care packages for families with little ones staying in the NICU at Akron Children's Hospital. We try to pick projects that help get the kids involved so we can set an example of service!
